Hotel Allahabad Regency - Prayagraj

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Allahabad. the location was perfect – right in the heart of the main market area, making it convenient for shopping and exploring the city. Secondly, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable stay. Thirdly, the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with attention to detail and all basic amenities provided. Lastly, the breakfast at Cafe 1866 was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful and I couldn't find a single fault.

We had a PLEASANT stay. Location not far from a tube station. There was free WiFi at the hotel. An easy walk to Bukhara Restaurant, where you can have lunch.

Convenient location and a pleasant stay 👍. It's just a short walk to Minto Park, and the hotel is only 15 km from the airport. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel's location near the main market can't be beat; everything you need is just a short walk away. the Cafe 1866 is a standout, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. the room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space. the bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. the service was top-notch and the breakfast was tasty with a variety of options. One of the advantages of the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff.

There was one aspect of the hotel that wasn't up to par. the restaurant service could be improved as some guests reported slow service and poor quality of food.

Great Food and friendly staff. The food at the hotel's restaurant was a delight, and the staff were all polite and helpful. The hotel's colonial-style building was attractive and the rooms were of a good standard. The shower always had plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning in our room was excellent even in the hot temperatures outside.

Slow service and broken facilities. The service at the hotel was slow, and some of the facilities, such as the gym equipment, were broken and seemed outdated.

The hotel's location was perfect, situated near the main market and close to all the action. I loved the attention to detail throughout the property, especially in the cafe named 'Cafe 1866'. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making sure that all my needs were met. The rooms were cozy with the bed on the ground level, adding a unique touch to the overall experience. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delicious and offered a great variety of options.

Everything was up to par, making my stay enjoyable.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel! the pool was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the restaurant had a nice selection of food, and the portions were generous. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and clean room.

There were a few things that could be improved. the gym equipment was old and not functioning properly.
